Goldbug Backpack Harness
When I had my son, I never thougt I would need a backpack harness to keep track of my son. In fact, I had seen them and promised myself, I would never use one. However, when my son turned a year and we were planning to attend a big firework celebration at a park with lots of people as well as a disneyland trip, I began to worry about keeping my son safe and I had to swallow my pride, to feel like I could really keep him with me. I have a wild child on my hands who loves to take off any chance he gets. It didn't matter how many time outs, or how much attention I gave him, he just loves to take off and run away at times, especially when he was one. He was an early walker and just loved to explore.

When I was looking into which harness system I should get, I found many options. The reason I chose the goldbug backpack buddy was:
1. affordable. I found many choices that were really cute but way more money that I wanted to spend. I wasn't planning on use this system every day, I just wanted to use it when we went to big crowded areas.
2. cute! They have a lot of cute animal choices to choose from. They are comfortable, and also have a zipper pouch for a few small items like a pacifier. It's kind of fun for him to have that option to put a small toy in the pouch.
3. you can take the leash off! I like that you have the option to take the leash off and have it just be a backpack if wanted.
My only real point of criticism with this product is that it gets dirty so fast and it's really hard to clean well because it's furry and so it grabs onto sticky and dirty things. I realize they are cute stuffed animals but if their is anyway to use better fabrics for the outdoors, I would prefer that.
